download/print version

Our direct target market is within the regional scope of Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati and the surrounding areas, i.e. Frankfort, S. Indiana, Bardstown, Covington, etc. With this in mind, our articles focus on residents and events/stories happening within these communities, for the exception of the travel category, which has a broader focus.

STYLE

Our writing style for BVS is personal, friendly and of a story-telling nature. We aim to be a place of positivity and connection as well as providing a service of information that is helpful and easy to understand. We do not tolerate any defamatory or negative content – in our articles or in our forums. This is a site dedicated to building community and connections.

WRITERS

Interested in writing more than just one article? Check out our Fresh Voices opportunity. We are looking for aspiring writers in all regions and categories.

If you’re a freelance writer interested in submitting regularly, please call our office, 502.287.2772 or email us directly. We have opportunities in the Lexington and Cincinnati areas for both. Louisville is currently only looking for a freelance writer in Music.
