MOBILE WINE TASTINGS

BVS has joined with Tom Johnson of the Louisville Juice Wine Blog to offer several entertaining and anecdotal wine tastings for any occasion. Perhaps you have a dinner club and want to spice things up a bit or perhaps you’re tired of the same old happy hour and wine for entertaining co-workers and colleagues. And why have the same old bridal shower or rehearsal dinner? Do something different. Whether you just want to add on to an already fabulous fête or you’re looking for us to BE the entertainment, we can travel to you – whether at a restaurant, your place of business or at home – check out what we have in mind for you:

Current mobile wine tastings include (5-6 wines):

• Cinematic Tastings: A twist on tasting. Enjoy wine that shares the personality of the main characters from some of pop culture’s most beloved classics.
  FOR THE HOLIDAY: It’s A Wonderful Wine!
• New Wines for the New Year: Features wines you’ve probably haven’t heard of but should have. A fun discovery for the season and the palate!
• The Best of Bubbly: Any celebration is barely complete without a true

Pricing starts at $20 per person for wine alone, but appetizers or a dinner may be added to enhance your experience at an additional charge. Check back frequently as we’re always adding new themes to our collection. And don’t be afraid to ask for a customized event – we love to personalize our services to you.

MOBILE MIXOLOGY

Have you been itching to learn how to make the perfect martini? Or perhaps you’re more interested in the modern cocktails – those with a culinary twist? Not a drinker? Not to worry, we do upscale ‘mocktails’ as well. Mixologist Stephen Dennison, of such heavy hitters as  Z’s Fusion, Varanese and Limestone will come to you and either teach you how to prepare the perfect cocktail or entertain you with his stories and vivid imagination as he pleases your thirsty palate. Options include:

• The Classic Cocktails: Martinis, Manhattans and Sidecars, oh my! Other popular cocktails included as well. We can tailor our event to suit your tastes.
• Culinary Cocktails: featuring signature cocktails created for Anthony Bourdain and the2009 Idea Festival.
• Before & After Cocktails featuring Miracle Fruit: originally created for the Before and After Speakeasy of June 2009.

Pricing includes 4-5 cocktails and start at $25 per person, but may be adjusted to include heavy hors d’doeuvres or a full dinner.

ORIGINALS FOR YOU

So, you’ve been to one of our events and thought, “Wow, this would be such fun to do for my friends or co-workers!” Never fear, it’s possible. Working with a few select caterers and personal chefs, we are willing and able to recreate any one of our signature events to suit your needs. Surprise parties, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, client dinners, family get together, special celebration – just give us a ring and we can tailor the perfect event just for you! Caterers/Chefs include Sherry Hurley of Farm to Fork; Stephen Dennison; Alison Mann, most recently sous chef on TLC’s Take Home Chef with Curtis Stone and a few select others as well.

• Supper Speakeasies – Great food, great chefs, undisclosed locations.
• Wine & Wisdom Dinners – 360^o experiences of food, drink and interaction.
• Nibble & Sip Happy Hours – Celebrate all things local with a cocktail party featuring the best of the region.
• Sunday Serenades – In home concerts with local artists can add something special to any private event.
• Picnics & Flicks – Enjoy the cinema, satellite television, video games – all on a large screen and wherever you fancy.
