The last couple of days have been warm, but at least we’re finally getting some much needed rain around here. - We had our first Supper Speakeasy to rave reviews. Look out for the article that will be hitting the Courier during the month of September. And don’t worry, we’ll let you know when it hit stands. Our next one is in the planning stages for October (tentatively scheduled for Oct. 23) and if you think you might have a spot for us to enjoy, let me know and if we select your idea, you eat for free!

This family fun event features free popcorn, live music and some good ol’ fashioned fun with cornhole and other games. Music starts at 7:00, movie at sundown, roughly 8:30. Pack your picnic, blankets, chairs, dogs, kids and come have a relaxing evening under the stars. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
